Nancy Buennemeyer

A Minnesota native and proud daughter and spouse of the U.S. Air Force, Nancy Buennemeyer brings both artistic excellence and a lifelong connection to service. With a master’s-equivalent in Vocal Music, she served as a public school educator in grades K–12 across four states, shaping young voices and helping students discover confidence through music.

Nancy’s professional performance experience includes the St. Paul Chamber Singers, Minnesota Opera, Chimera Theater, Montana Chorale, and the Nebraska Choral Arts Society. A skilled pianist, she spent over sixteen years performing in pit orchestras and, in her “retirement,” has continued her creative contributions as costume designer for numerous productions at Bellevue Little Theater.

Now serving as a Board Member and Vocal Performance Coach for Hero’s Encore, Nancy leads the vocal training and performance preparation for Heroes advancing through the organization’s Peer-to-Performer program—helping each participant step into their voice, their story, and their encore.
